National Tourism Dollars
The tourist dollar is enormously important.
Most countries in the world invest heavily to attract tourists because those dollars fuel the economy. Hotels, restaurants, attractions, events, shops, arts organizations...the impact is wide-ranging.
Think of it this way. Without those tourist dollars, you would not even recognize the place you live, because so many of the things you love to do wouldn't be able to make it. By visiting for a short time, tourists give you THE GIFT of a vibrant and exciting place to live year-round.
So how can a nation attract more tourists?
