The broadcast industry is, contrary to popular opinion, not ready to roll over anytime soon. They have great audience numbers overall. But like many industries, using demographics to profile the target audience for a product (in this case a channel) just doesn't feel right anymore.
I'm fascinated with this industry after speaking at the Western Association of Broadcasters conference in Banff earlier this year, and am very glad that Shawn Smith asked me to have this chat about how Valuegraphics can, perhaps, point this industry sector in a new direction. It won't be easy! But it will be worth it.
