After a career spent developing ideas and concepts to engage stakeholders for several hundred organizations, David Allison recognized the need for a more scientific method to determine what really influences people to do the things they do. The result is The Valuegraphics Database, the first global dataset created specifically to help organizations predict and influence behavior using the values we share.

Before Valuegraphics, over the span of ten years, he launched and sold an award-winning marketing-communications firm, with clients in dozens of countries. He also served as VP Marketing for a luxury brand with 117 offices around the globe, and operations in cities across Canada. He began his career in a succession of advertising agencies, first in account management, and eventually as a copywriter and creative director. His volunteer work includes the board of the Urban Development Institute,

the Contemporary Art Gallery, and the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.

David is an accomplished keynote speaker and has lectured at Vancouver’s three largest post-secondary institutes. He also taught a full slate of undergraduate and graduate marketing courses at the University of Calgary School of Business. He has won many accolades and awards and written three books on various market-motivation techniques, including one of the first to recognize how social media would change the relationship between consumers and companies. His current best-selling book on Valuegraphics, We Are All The Same Age Now, was named by INC.
