Urban Development Institute Names David Allison
as UDI Editor-at-Large
“The Urban Development Institute is committed to educating our members and the general public about a wide variety of topics that are crucial to the building of better cities for everyone. Having David work with us as our Editor-at-Large means we will be able to provide more information to all the audiences we need to address,” said CEO Anne McMullin.
In January 2015, after ten years building a real estate branding firm, Allison sold the company to management and began working directly with senior executive teams in real estate and other industries “to help companies figure out how to tell their best possible story,” Allison explains.
“Stories are everything,” he continues. “Stories about the incredibly fascinating and undeniably important world of real estate development will help us all make better decisions about how we build our cities. I’m thrilled to be doing this work with Anne and the dedicated UDI team.”
Allison’s first interview on behalf of UDI is with April 22nd luncheon speaker, Craig Wright, the Chief Economist of the Royal Bank of Canada. You can read the interview here. And get tickets for the luncheon here.
“David knows the industry inside and out, and it doesn’t hurt that he’s a good storyteller who understands how brands need to share information in the digital marketplace. He’ll help our brand tell more people about the vital role our industry plays in economic development and building more homes for more people.” McMullin concluded.
